CIS consolation final: No. 5 Gee-Gees beat Stingers, finish fifth
OTTAWA (CIS) - Fifth-year post Dax Dessureault had a 22-point, 13-rebound double-double in his final university game Sunday as the No. 5-seeded Ottawa Gee-Gees defeated the No. 7 Concordia Stingers 83-76 to win the consolation final for fifth-place at the 2009 CIS men's basketball Final Eight, at Scotiabank Place. -
