Montreal, Qc - Striker Rosalyn Hicks scored a hat trick as the top-ranked University of British Columbia Thunderbirds shut out the No.3-ranked Ottawa Gee-Gees 5-0 to win their second consecutive CIS women's university championship at Percival Molson Stadium, Sunday. -

McGill earns Bronze medal with 2-1 win over Laval
Montreal, Qc - Forward Antonietta Pascale of Beaconsfield, Que., scored twice as the McGill University Martlets edged Laval 2-1 in a hotly-contested re-match of the Quebec final, to win bronze at the CIS women's university championship on Sunday. The victory extended McGill's undefeated streak to 21 consecutive games (15-0-6). -

Ottawa beats Queen's 1-0, advances to gold medal game vs. UBC
Montreal, Qc - Melissa Abraham scored in the final minute of the first half to give Ottawa a 1-0 victory over Queen`s and a berth in the gold medal game at the 2003 CIS women's soccer championship, Saturday. The Gee-Gees will take on UBC for the national title at noon Sunday at Percival Molson Stadium. -

Laval beats UCCB 2-1, advances to bronze medal game
Montreal, Qc - Genevieve Marcotte, a sophomore striker from Ancienne Lorrette, Que., scored what proved to be the winning goal in the 73rd minute to give Laval a 2-1 victory over University College of Cape Breton in Game 5 at the CIS women's soccer championship at Percival Molson Stadium, Saturday. -
