SASKATOON (CIS) - The No.2-seeded UBC Thunderbirds outscored the No.4-Regina Cougars 36-13 in the second half en route to a 67-46 gold-medal win at the 2008 Canadian Interuniversity Sport women's basketball championship and a third Bronze Baby Trophy victory in five years. -

CIS bronze medal: No. 3 Mac edges Laval for bronze
SASKATOON (CIS) - As only the second team in their school's history to win a bronze medal at the CIS Women's Basketball Championships, the No. 3 McMaster Marauders head home to Hamilton satisfied after defeating the No. 8 Laval Rouge et Or 83-79 Sunday afternoon at the PAC. -

CIS consolation final: Clan crush host Huskies, finish fifth
SASKATOON (CIS) - The top-seeded and 2006-07 champion Simon Fraser University Clan played a dominant game winning 91-69 over the host University of Saskatchewan Huskies in the fifth-place final at the 2008 Canadian Interuniversity Sport women's basketball championship. -
