THE
TANTRAMAR TROPHY
The Tantramar Trophy is awarded annually to the CIS Men's
Volleyball Champion. The trophy was donated in 1967 by Mt. Allison
University and is named after the famous Tantramar Marshes, a large
area dedicated to the birds and wildlife surrounding Sackville,
New Brunswick, near Mt. Allison University.

DALE IWANOCZKO AWARD
This
Award is presented to reward excellence in the student-athlete.
The recipient will exhibit outstanding achievement in three
areas: volleyball, academics and community involvement. A former
setter and Bachelor of Science student with the University of
Manitoba, Dale Iwanoczko spent 5 years playing volleyball with
the Bison’s where he earned a bronze, three silver and
in 1991 a CIS Championship Title. A five-time All-Canadian and
CIS Player of the Year (1990), Dale completed his medical degree
in 1993 receiving the Family Medecine Award.
