Podloski, a fourth-year agriculture and forestry student from St. Albert, Alta., was in on 10 of Albertas 16 goals last weekend as the No. 4-ranked Pandas (16-2) swept a two-game road series against UBC (7-10-1) by identical 8-0 scores. The 22-year-old forward scored twice and had four assists in Fridays series-opening win, before adding a goal and three helpers on Saturday. A two-time All-Canadian who came back to the Pandas this season after taking a year off from university hockey, Podloski currently leads the nation in scoring with 41 points (14-27-41) in 18 conference games. St. Francis Xavier hockey player Brayden Ferguson, McGill hockey player Ann-Sophie Bettez and Lakehead basketball player Kathryn Verboom were also nominated for the womens award. Perrin, a second-year arts student from Creston, B.C., averaged over five kills per set as the WolfPack (7-5) swept a weekend doubleheader against No. 9 Brandon (6-6) ranked seventh prior to the duels - to climb three positions to No. 6 in the CIS coaches poll. The 6-foot-6, 190-pound outside hitter kicked off the two-game series Friday night tallying a game-high 17 kills for only three errors in a straight-set win, and followed up with a match-high 19 kills along with three service aces and five digs in Saturdays four-set victory. Last years Canada West rookie of the year and a member of the CIS All-Rookie team, Perrin is in the Top 5 in Canada West in kills, service aces and points. Podloski, une tudiante de quatrime anne en agriculture et foresterie originaire de St. Albert, Alb., a particip 10 des 16 buts de lAlberta au cours du dernier week-end alors que les Pandas (16-2), classes quatrimes au pays, ont balay une srie de deux rencontres face UBC (7-10-1) par des pointages identiques de 8-0. Lattaquante ge de 22 ans a marqu deux reprises et a rcolt quatre assistances lors du premier duel prsent vendredi, puis a ajout un filet et trois aides samedi.
