Buna, a third-year kinesiology major from Kelowna, B.C., tallied 43 points over two games last weekend as the No. 1-ranked Clan (12-1) resumed conference play with an 84-58 win over Brandon (1-11) and an 80-63 victory over No. 5 Regina (9-3), which was ranked second in the nation at the time of the contest. The 5-foot-11 guard, who also had eight steals and six assists over the two-game set, scored a season-high 25 points against the Bobcats and led all players on the court with 18 points in the win against the Cougars. St. Francis Xavier basketball player Ashley Stephen and McGill hockey player Cathy Chartrand were also nominated for the womens award. Glover, a third-year arts and science student from Fresno, California, exploded for 72 points in a pair of wins over Lethbridge (4-8). In Sundays 106-93 victory, the 5-foot-11, 160-pound guard set a Huskies single-game record and put himself fifth on the Canada West all-time list with 50 points, marking the first 50-point performance in a Canada West regular season game since 1997. On Monday, Glover, who leads the conference and is second in the nation in scoring with a 26.36 point-per-game average, added a team-high 22 points in an 86-77 win.
